As a young artist Rhoda Needlman was captivated by the beauty, vibrancy and purity of pastels.
Spending summers in the Catskill Mtns. endeared her to the landscape which exhibited to her an intensity of emotion, a sense of mystery and everlasting beauty.
An accomplished violinist, performing in orchestras and string ensembles has made her aware of the intrinsic similarities between musical composition and color harmony. The dynamics in musical passages have influenced her color sense and creativity.
She has been published in several books and publications, is in the NASA Hubble Space Art Collection, in traveling exhibitions and has juried shows. She has exhibited in museums, has won many awards and is in many private art collections.
