From an early age, Suzanne Lemieux Wilson developed a love of Art in general and Pastels in particular. She studied Fine Arts in Boston and London and taught in Westport, Connecticut at Famous Artists School and in California at San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach and Grossmont College.

She won 3 Awards of Merit from the Pastel Society of America, and Best Floral, Best Landscape, Best Composition and the Arciello Award in PSA Annuals. Her pastels were acquired by City University of New York and Fairfield University. Group exhibitions worldwide included Heatherley Gallery in London, the Société Des Pastellistes de France, Lincoln Center, Lever House, Riverside Church and the Salmagundi Club in New York and The Copley Society in Boston. She is listed in Who’s Who In American Art.

In Ireland, the Animation Director, Don Bluth observed her working on a pastel book and invited her to create concept art for films. This led to a decade of designing inspirational scenes, backgrounds, color themes and more for Sullivan Bluth, Walt Disney and Fox Animation as well as a nomination to the Academy of Motion Pictures.

Her pastels have been published in The Art of Pastel, Painting Indoors, The Art of Anastasia, Don Bluth’s The Art of The Storyboard and American Artist Magazine.
