I am an artist working and residing in Kemijärvi, Finnish Lapland. I am a member of Finnish Painters’ Union and board member of Artists’ Association of Lapland as well as a Master Pastelist of PSA. My works have been displayed in numerous solo exhibitions in Finland and several group exhibitions abroad. My pastel paintings have received many international awards. My latest commission is for the city of Rovaniemi.

In my works I search for the tangible surface between the inner and the observable world by introspection during the painting process. I get ignited when something gets a metaphorical meaning. I bridge the soul and reason within the concept of time. Through imagery, I consider the complexities of these dualities.
