Peter Seltzer’s paintings in oil and pastel are represented in many private, public, corporate and academic permanent collections.  Included are the Butler Institute of American Art, the New Britain Museum of American Art, Uniroyal Chemical International, Harvard University and the New Haven Paint and Clay 100+ year collection.

In depth articles about his pastel technique and content have appeared in American Artist Magazine, Artist’s Magazine, Pastel Journal and Connecticut Magazine.  Additionally, his imagery has been selected for inclusion in Strokes of Genius 9, Best of Pastel 1 and 2, Best of Sketching and Drawing, and Pure Color: The Best of Pastel first and second editions.

As a Master Pastelist, his paintings have won many awards in the annual PSA exhibit. Three of these were the highest award offered.  In addition, among the numerous awards won in the annual international competition sponsored by Pastel Journal, Pastel 100, he has been recognized with the Silver Award.
