Pastel Perspectives
Personalized Virtual Critiques with Distinguished Pastel Artists
Pastel Perspectives is PSA’s personalized virtual critique program, created to give artists meaningful one-on-one guidance from accomplished pastel professionals without the need to travel.
Our updated format now features a two-session critique package, thoughtfully designed to provide greater value, deeper learning, and lasting momentum in your work.
How It Works
Your package includes two private 30-minute Zoom sessions with the featured critique artist.
Session One
A focused review of your submitted artwork, strengths, challenges, and clear strategies for moving forward.
Between Sessions
You’ll have time to reflect, apply ideas in the studio, and work with renewed direction.
Session Two
Return with new work, progress, or questions for continued guidance and next-level development.
Why Two Sessions Matter
Real artistic growth takes time. This format allows artists to absorb feedback, put ideas into practice, and benefit from a follow-up session that builds on progress rather than ending after a single conversation.
Ideal For Artists Who Want To:
• strengthen current paintings
• move past creative blocks
• improve design, value, color, or composition
• gain clarity and confidence
• develop personal voice and direction
• receive professional insight tailored to their goals
Whether you are an emerging artist or an experienced painter seeking a fresh perspective, Pastel Perspectives offers thoughtful guidance designed to move your work forward.
