Art has always been part of my life, and for this I feel blessed.

Having worked for Yankee Magazine in the 80’s and 90’s doing graphic work and illustration for The Old Farmer’s Almanac, Yankee Magazine and its various publications, I feel this experience has influenced my painting style. Strong compositions are important to me. I prefer to paint close-up views of a subject, whether it be flora or luscious fruits and vegetables where I study the shapes and colors keeping composition foremost in my mind and then begin painting the different lumonisities and textures within an object.

I have worked exclusively in the pastel medium for the past 12 years and have fallen in love with its immediacy and vibrant pure colors.

My art has been published in Artists Magazine and Pastel Journal.

Art is a journey that I’m grateful to be on. It completes me.
