Jacquelyn Kammerer Cattaneo


Biography

Jacquelyn Kammerer Cattaneo was born in Gallup, NM, and being a spectator of varied ethnic groups and the hypnotic light that enhances the New Mexico landscape, she has developed an intuitive approach to her subject’s aura, be it a portrait, tree or landscape. Her art is acclaimed worldwide and collected by patrons through the United States.

She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art, a signature member of The Pastel Society of the West Coast (PSWC), holding a double membership in the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club since 1984, and was awarded permanent certification by The American Portrait Society (APSC) in 1985 and is a signature member of PSA.

Jacquelyn was an invited ambassador of art in the following countries: Russia, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, the Greek Islands, Spain, Israel, Egypt, Italy and Brazil. In 2004, Jacquelyn was awarded; The PSA Award in the 108th Juried Annual Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and First Place Pastel in the Members Only show of the same art organization.

Jacquelyn feels that her work is always developing and each painting is a learning experience. It is her goal to present sensitivity thru the use of vibrant color.
