Each year the Pastel Society of America selects an outstanding artist to be included as a Hall of Fame Honoree to honor his or her special achievements in pastel painting. The announcement is made during the Pastel Society of America’s Annual Exhibition and the honoree's paintings are exhibited prominently during the exhibition.
