The International Association of Pastel Societies represents pastel societies uniting in a common cause—to demonstrate the validity and quality of fine art in pastel around the world. The association will be holding its Tenth Biennial Convention in June 2013, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Members from PSA will be giving workshops and demonstrations. Visit the IAPS website for more information about how to apply for association shows and how you can attend the convention.
North America Pastel Artists Association and PSA
Several invited members of PSA participated in the 12th Annual Pastel Exhibition of The North America Pastel Artists Association held at the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, located in Flushing, Queens, New York.  Some of these artists had previously exhibited in Taipei, Taiwan, in an exhibition sponsored by the Taiwan Government, in the spring of 2010.
Jason Chang, Signature Member of PSA, is also president of the North America Pastel Artists Association. A welcome opportunity for members of PSA to exhibit with fellow pastelists from the United States and from abroad! We congratulate Jason for all his work in promoting the pastel medium in Taiwan, where pastel paintings had not been exhibited before!
